Hey Southeast CT! In 24 days, the Dawn Tyler Comedy family will be bringing laughs and good times to Groton! Tickets are now on sale on Eventbrite. We've slashed our admission prices out of respect for you wallet during this government shut down 🙄. There is a full bar and a delicious menu thanks to our venue Caribbean Delices. Shows will be every 2nd Saturday. See you there!

CALLING ALL COMEDIANS!! I'm back! I know I've been a bit MIA this year but ya girl is back in full swing and with a new venue to call home, in GROTON, CT! We will be running monthly comedy shows on the 2nd Saturday of every month (weather permitting). We will also be hosting Open Mics, Karaoke and possibly a comics writer forum (stay tuned😉)

I'M BACK! Black Hibernation Season is finally over, so it's time to get back to the laughs and start booking comics. I've decided that year, we will focus our attention to establishing more shows here CT. I enjoyed my time in RI, but building a comedy experience in my backyard is the goal!

We will be back at Acorn Acres Campground 3 times this summer, raising money for the 7th Regiment Drum & Bugle Corps Scholarship. So I'm also looking for raffle prize donations from local businesses. If you are able to help, please lmk.

What else is in store? The Capital Arts Theater? More private events?A festival?A weekly gig at a hidden gem 🤔? 🤷🏾‍♀️🙊🤫

TOMORROW NIGHT! I'm back in my hometown bringing laughs with 2 of my favorite funny people, Leslie Zwicker and Jay Are Adams. The show starts at 7pm bc we're all at the age where we want to be home in bed before 10pm and I will need to bring home some Tony's Pizza! The American Legion Post 19 Willimantic has been hard at work setting up a stage, lighting and sound system for this and future events. Tickets are still available.

FRIDAY NIGHT! Join us for a night of laughs at the Newport Playhouse. Our Headliner, Scott Lorenzo will be hitting the road tomorrow and traveling to New England to bring a his Everything is BIGGER in Texas energy! We also have some Rhode Island favorites to balance out the lineup. This show has an accent for everyone!

Carolyn Comeau
Carolyn Comeau is a 76 year old, who started performing standup 2.5 years ago. She is a graduate of Brian Beaudoin’s comedy stand up class at the Comedy Connection and has performed all over Rhode Island, Massachusetts and CT. This retired RN will bring a daily dose of laughter that will have you checking your vitals and will leave you in stiches.

Rudy Marinosci
Rudy Marinosci is a
Providence based comic born and raised. He has performed at the prestigious Comedy Park in Cranston, The Vault in New Bedford, and the world famous Comedy Connection in Providence. Rudy is contagious with laughter and is a master of making the offensive a little more palatable.

Scott Lorenzo
Scott Lorenzo has been a fan of comedy and a performer since he was 9 years old telling werewolf jokes at school talent shows. A lifelong writer and student of all the comedy greats who came before him, Scott has always felt home on stage with a mic in his hand.

After working the majority of his adult life
in the service industry and enduring various genres of subpar retail music against his will, Scott's survival instincts took form during the pandemic when he began writing parodies of these ear worms he couldn't get rid of. At last count he's written 74 of these "masterpieces" and hours of standup material.
His alter ego "Pappy" will charm the bloomers off your grandma with his soulful voice and highly suggestive lyrics, as he serenades you with filthy versions of your favorite country classics. No one is safe!

Get ready for a night of raunchy comedy and ruined classic songs!
