The Creative World of Dot Kibbee
Sunday, January 15, 2023
2:00 PM 3:00 PM
Greensboro Free Library
Come see and experience a collection of artwork created by GRACE Heritage Artist Dot Kibbee that exemplifies her colorfully expressive personal painting style which was fine-tuned over her years attending GRACE's creative community workshops in Hardwick, Vermont. Like many artists do, Dot Kibbee used painting as a form of storytelling to convey or express her own perspectives and life experiences. As a result, her paintings are sometimes observational, sometimes autobiographical and sometimes just for fun. Dot Kibbee's creativity encourages us to take pleasure in the simple moments in life and also reminds us to be present, connected and observant while we are living our daily lives.
Enjoy viewing the selected pieces from The GRACE Gallery Dot Kibbee Collection on exhibit at the Greensboro Free Library now through January 28, 2023 in Greensboro, Vermont.

This has been a year of great change at Rural Arts! Many long-standing staff retired, and many more teaching artists have been hired! Among the changing faces, you'll recognize the same enriching programming - Outdoor Adventures in the Craftsbury Woodlot, Summer Camp in Greensboro, creative technology in Spark, and Full Moon Pizza Nights in Craftsbury. We couldn't do all this without the generous support of donors like you. Thank you for giving today!
Arts in the NEK — Rural Arts Collaborative

Arts in the NEK — Rural Arts Collaborative Thank you for your participation in Giving Tuesday this year to support arts, recreation, technology, and sustainability in our region this year! Become a sustaining donor to show your support year 'round!

Countdown to Giving Tuesday! We're celebrating your generosity with a story and picture from the past year to inspire you to become a sustaining donor on Tuesday, November 29.
Today's story is from Will Marlier, Spark member and owner of Soaring Hubris Games. “I was first drawn to Spark as a creative workspace that had the tools I needed to develop and prototype my mythology-inspired tabletop board game, Heroes’ Journey: Labyrinth. It didn’t take long for me to notice that I was surrounded by other passionate and creative professionals, one of whom has since signed onto the project as our Lead Illustrator. Working with Jackson Miller has taught me that Spark provides not just physical resources like computers, lasers, and printers, but also networking opportunities that can lead to meaningful collaboration.”

Thank you!
