We want to CONGRATULATE Austin on his new job he started this week at Dallara!
We had plans to run most of this week as sprint cars will be the support class, but due to the job change our schedule has changed a bit. Be back on the track this weekend!

Sprint car career best 2nd place finish last night at Bloomington! Led as late as lap 20, with a 3 car battle for the lead at the white flag. Was a great night, looking for 1 spot better tonight at Lincoln Park. Thank you to everyone that helps on this #97!
39 cars in attendance at Montpelier’s BOSS sprint car race last night and Austin had another good run with a 5th place finish in the feature after starting 8th. Was running 4th and moving forward with 8 to go when he slid off the top of turn 2 letting the eventual winner get by him. Got a little interview time on the live stream after his heat race win.
Thanks again to Isaac Chapple and Kenny Cross, can’t do it without them. Isaac’s been tremendous working with Austin these past few weeks, not only on setup but minimizing his mistakes behind the wheel. And to our sponsors Billy’s Tequila, Intellicents, Brigade Shooting company, Impact Racing, DRC, and Shawn Frazier Designs, Thank you!!

Planned on racing at Lima last night but work schedule didn’t allow it (more on that in a later post). On our way to Montpelier tonight, hoping to continue the good run from last Saturday. Picture from KFmediaphotos

A stout field of 58 sprint cars at Lincoln Park last night. Had quick time in his group and 5th quick overall. Went 4th to 2nd in his heat race to make the redraw. Started 10th in the main and ended up with an 8th place run. Was passing for 6th when a yellow came out that negated the pass with a few laps to go. Still a really good night and fast from start to finish. With the extreme late night and rain chances, we’re going to skip Kokomo and begin prep for next weekend.
Special thanks to our crew, Isaac Chapple and Kenny Cross along with special guests Mike and Cody Nigh. They had the 97 Enterprises, Billy’s Tequila, Intellicents, Brigade Shooting Company, Impact Racing, Shawn Frazier Designs, DRC rolling good last night.
After Bloomington rained out last light, we’re on for tonight at Lincoln Park Speedway!

First the bad… Austin’s qualifying time was disqualified due to having the wrong compound LR tire on. I own it, it was my fault. It wasn’t intentional, and upon further inspection I didn’t even realize that half of our LR tire inventory is of the wrong compound for USAC. I wasn’t checking that when I ordered my tires for pickup because I trusted I was getting the right compound but again that’s on me. That eliminated what would have been the 22nd time out of the 29 cars in attendance and forced him to start last in the heat race and the B main.
The good….for his first time at Terre Haute and on a half mile, you could tell he got more and more comfortable throughout the night, turned some respectable laps speed wise that showed we were capable of making the A main if we hadn’t beaten ourselves by having to start on the tail all night. Ultimately in the B he finished 8th after battling with 7th for the last part of the race, 2 spots out of the transfer spot and our night was over.
The best… the weather looks good for tonight’s race at Circle City.
Thank you to Billy’s Tequila, Intellicents, The Brigade Shooting Company and our crew of Isaac Chapple, Kenny Cross, and Mike Nigh last night for all of their help.
