Through positive youth development programming, young people develop the skills, the strengths, and the resilience to overcome barriers and be successful as adolescents and adults.

World Wide Knit in Public Day, Saturday, June 14, 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
GPL Front Patio, Makerspace
Greenfield Public Library will have two events to celebrate World Wide Knit in Public Day on Saturday, June 14 from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm: a Knit-In and a Yarn Swap.

Bring your needles, a project and a lawn chair, and set up on GPL’s front patio to join other knitters in this worldwide annual event. If the weather is inclement, you can move indoors to the Periodicals Lounge, on the first floor.

Upstairs in the Makerspace, stop by the Yarn Swap! Bring some skeins to swap! Perfect for cleaning out your stash and finding yarn for a new project. We ask that you limit it to ten skeins.

For more information, contact Nancy Little at [email protected] or call (413) 772-1544
This program, generously sponsored by the Friends of the Greenfield Public Library, is free and intended for ages 12 and up.
