Our Story

D&R Boats is one of the most highly successful, independently owned family dealership in the industry. Founded by Dominic J Barone and now owned by his son, Robert, the business has lasted over 60 years. Now with the third generation jointing the succession, the team has grown the business and today is one of the state’s largest multi-branch operations. Our dedication to superior service and attention to detail was the key to our early success and has been instilled in the company to this date.

We represent four highly respected boat brands in the industry and the owner believes its all about relationships. Having these brands in the stores for more than 20 years now has enabled D&R Boats to build a large customer base and have captured brand loyalty like no other. Many customers are now purchasing their fourth or fifth boat from D&R.

Brands such as Robalo, Parker, Buddy Davis, and Crownline all high quality, good looking and performing boats, are part of the success of our company. In addition to sales, we maintain a large service department, offering repairs from engine rebuilding to canvas repair. All mechanics are handpicked and undergo extensive training throughout the year. Our staff are certified on all major brands of stern drives and outboards.

Rounding us off, we have a variety of parts and accessories in our Green Brook location, serving all the do-it-yourselfers. We are authorized dealers for engine brands from Mercury and Yamaha to Volvo Penta and Johnson, just to name a few, along with Raymarine, Garmin, Simrad, Tidewater trailers, and Loadrite Trailers.
