A quick reminder of how LEGO Ideas works 🧱🏈
I submitted my LEGO Lambeau Field project on April 1, and as of today, April 19, it already has 1,200+ supporters.
First, a project has to be approved by LEGO just to go live. If LEGO doesn’t think it fits the platform, it never even makes it that far. This one did.
From there, the goal is 10,000 supporters to reach the review stage. If it reaches review, the LEGO team decides whether it will become a real set.
And if it does, it becomes an official licensed LEGO set.

This is my newest creation. This is for a contest on LEGO ideas. My goal was to create a ship that had more realistic coloring and dimensions. This was the result.

I tried my hand at the USS Enterprise from Star Trek and this is the result. Unfortunately there is a licensing conflict so this set cannot become an actual LEGO set but I enjoyed the challenge of trying my hand at recreating this iconic ship. If you notice the base that holds the ship is a minifigure scale command bridge from the Enterprise including 5 characters from the original show.

Got to compete at the Greeley Stampede LEGO Creation Festival on Saturday and was fortunate to have my creation representing 100 years of the Greeley Stampede as the first place winner.
In the competition we were asked to build something in 4 hours out of a random assortment of bricks and to use as many parts as possible. It was a fun challenge and I really enjoyed getting out of my comfort zone.
