After a brief period of selling jukeboxes to taverns, William and his wife Lillian Jahnke started operating equipment in taverns instead of selling. As a small business owner and a homeschooler, often times my kids come to work with me. As they interact with other small businesses owners and their clients, it occurred to me today that I have nothing to hide. Everything is in the open about me, for all the world to see. Are my kid's kind, are the obedient, are they helpful to me, customers, and others around them. I have often said my life is an open book, I have nothing to hide. If you want to know anything, just ask. Our vulnerability is out there to see, and I must say that it is good for our kids to experience the world in which we live. They are kind, obedient, and helpful. Even though it seems to take forever, when they hear a weird sound of a quarter bouncing on the bar, thinking it may just be the illusive silver quarters of yesteryear.
