In the 4 years of making cakes, I have only had to personally cancel on 4 customers. When I tell you it is EATING ME UP, that is an understatement. This week is my last busy week here as a baker at this Louisiana home. 🥹 I have honestly been dreading making this post, but in a shift of thought I am so blessed! Instead of a breakup text, consider this more of a love letter.

After looking back at my own quirly way of bookkeeping, I have made approximately 473 cakes. I seriously doubt that’s even close, because I’ve tried so many ways of keeping a calendar along the way- but I’m a work in progress. 🫠

I am so thankful for so many people that took a chance on me and my little baking business here. I have been blessed with new friends and loyal customers. I have also made a few fellow baker friends for life. I have met new people from all over, made cakes and delivered to 3 different states. I have had the absolute PRIVILEGE of being a part of so many special moments- baby showers, wedding showers, so many birthdays, GORGEOUS weddings, bachelorette/bachelor trips, and even some funerals. For you to not only trust me, but also believe that I could do this job, means more to me than any of you will ever know. 🫶🏽💖 I wont ever take the past 4 years for granted. You’ve allowed me to contribute financially to my family, I have bought my children necessities, and also funded vacations with this venture and I will continue to thank God daily for this opportunity He blessed me with. I love you all. Thank you for everything! 🤍🤍🤍
