I’ve tried painting this swallow off and on since I drew it circa 2001. Finally laid it down and got it where I’m stoked on it. Gauche, liquid acrylic, and marker on Arches 140lb. cold.

Woke up this morning to learn of the passing of another tattoo legend. Rest easy, Greg! Never got to meet the man, but Greg James one of the guys I would look at in Tattoo magazine back in high school. I always loved his take on Japanese tattoo style and had hope to one day get a piece from a true OG!
Enjoy this short nature break from the daily grind. Close your eyes, take a few deep breaths and om!
Full disclosure: Unseen crash landed UFO/UAP tattoo I did last year. No aliens were hurt in the making of this extraterrestrial piece.
