P0304 cyl 4 misfire 1999 GM L31 5.7L. When you see someone already installed a new ignition system and there are new seals on the upper intake, you already know the problem is internal. Compression test verifies and leakdown test identifies exhaust valve problem. Easy-peasy!

Some projects are just minor repairs that require major surgery. All this to replace the O-rings on 2 O-ring boss plugs. Of course the oil cooler got a reseal while we were in there.

Time for some maintenance and maybe one upgrade.
