Tomas Bentolila has been a valued member of the Great Falls Reston Soccer Club (GFRSC) community for more than 10 years. Throughout his time with GFRSC, he has demonstrated dedication, sportsmanship, and a passion for the game while creating lasting friendships and memories on and off the field.

This year, Tomas graduates and is excited to begin the next chapter of his academic journey at Penn State University, where he will pursue a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

We are incredibly proud of Tomas and all that he has accomplished during his years with GFRSC. We look forward to seeing all that he achieves in the years ahead.

⚽️🎓 College Bound! Congratulations, Roya Bowers! 🎓⚽️

Roya Bowers has been a part of the Great Falls Reston Soccer family since she was just four years old and has loved every step of her soccer journey.

Over the years, Roya has experienced all that GFR has to offer—from Recreational League to Travel Soccer and back to Recreational—building friendships, developing her skills, and creating memories that will last a lifetime. Her passion for the game and positive attitude have made her a valued teammate and member of the GFR community.

As she begins an exciting new chapter at James Madison University this fall, Roya plans to continue her love of soccer by participating in the university’s club soccer program.

We are proud of all that Roya has accomplished and excited to see what the future holds for her both on and off the field.

⚽️🎓 Senior Recognition: Congratulations, Roman Radics! 🎓⚽️

Roman Radics has been part of the GFR soccer community since arriving from Siberia, Russia, at the age of three. Shortly after arriving, he began his soccer journey with GFR and has spent the past 15 years enjoying the game and building lifelong memories.

Over the years, Roman played with Me and My Ball, Reston/GFR travel teams, and the Suburban Friendship League (now NCSL Rec). His dedication to the sport and love of the game have been a constant throughout his youth soccer experience.

This year, Roman graduates from South Lakes High School and plans to attend Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA), where he will pursue studies in Data Center Operations.

While his competitive youth soccer career may be coming to a close, Roman looks forward to continuing to enjoy recreational soccer and spending time outdoors.

Congratulations, Roman! We are proud of all you have accomplished and wish you the very best in this exciting next chapter.

Grace Gibbens has been part of the GFR family since she was seven years old and has spent the past 12 seasons proudly representing Team Tsunami.

Grace would like to extend a special thank you to Coach Todd for his kindness, leadership, and for creating a supportive team environment where every player felt valued and encouraged to grow both on and off the field.

This spring, Grace graduates from South Lakes High School and will continue her academic and artistic journey at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where she will major in Lyric Theatre with a focus on opera and musical theatre.

We are incredibly proud of everything Grace has accomplished and can’t wait to see all that she achieves in this next chapter.

Giselle is graduating from Westfield High School and heading to James Madison University, where she plans to study Engineering while continuing her love for the game through club soccer.

As a center back for GFR, Giselle has been a strong and dependable presence on the field, bringing leadership, toughness, and consistency to every match. Her dedication and work ethic have made a lasting impact on her teammates and coaches.

We are so proud of everything Giselle has accomplished and can’t wait to see all she achieves at JMU and beyond.

Celebrating Brianna as she prepares for an exciting new chapter! 🎓💙

Brianna is graduating from Gainesville High School and attending Shenandoah University, where she will continue her athletic career playing lacrosse at the collegiate level.

During her time with GFR, Brianna played goalkeeper and brought determination, toughness, and leadership to the team. Her dedication on and off the field has made her an important part of the GFR family.

We are proud of all she has accomplished and can’t wait to see what the future holds for her at Shenandoah.

Recognizing Samantha for all of her hard work, dedication, and accomplishments as she celebrates this exciting milestone! 🎓💙

Samantha is graduating from Westfield High School and heading to Goucher College, where she plans to study Psychology while continuing her soccer career at the Division III level.

A versatile player in the center midfield and on the wing, Samantha has brought energy, determination, and teamwork to every match. She has played with Coach Jimmy since U13, beginning in Herndon, continuing through DMVFC, and now at GFR — a journey that reflects her commitment, growth, and passion for the game over the years.

We are so proud of Samantha and can’t wait to see all she accomplishes in this next chapter both academically and athletically.
