Are you a financial educator, counselor, or strategist who is ready to lead? Project GREEN is looking for a Director of Financial Capabilities to take our economic empowerment programs to the next level!
While leadership and community engagement are key, the absolute core of this role is deep financial expertise. We need someone who understands the nuances of personal finance, asset-building, and credit health, and knows how to translate that knowledge into life-changing community programming.
In this role, you will champion the development and delivery of our financial resources—including our signature workshops (like Money Talk) and strategic asset-building initiatives.
💼 What We’re Looking For:
Financial Literacy Experts: Proven experience coaching, teaching, or designing personal finance and wealth-building curricula.
Strategic Operators: Ability to analyze program data, scale our financial capabilities initiatives, and co-develop integrated marketing strategies with our Executive Director.
Community Leaders: A professional who can confidently manage Financial Capabilities Facilitators and collaborate across teams to ensure high-impact delivery.
Full-time (In-office at least 3 days/week to begin in Grand Rapids, MI)
If you have the financial acumen and the drive to build a more economically just community, we want you on our team.

🌶️ Hot Take: Budgeting alone in your room is out.
We get it. It’s a beautiful day, you're halfway through your workday, and the last thing you want to think about later is sitting through a dry lecture about interest rates and spreadsheets.
But what if we told you tonight’s Money Talk Workshop comes with free food, great people, and the kind of financial secrets that actually put money back in your pocket? 💸
Your friends are going to be talking about their savings goals tomorrow, and you don't want to be the only one nodding along pretending you know what a high-yield account is.
Spaces are filling up fast for tonight. Don't look back tomorrow wishing you grabbed a seat during your lunch break!
