It's officially summer, and we love how green campus looks!

Some campuses just feel different when you step onto them.

At Summer Visit Day, you’ll explore our beautiful campus, tour residence halls and academic spaces, and learn more about what makes Calvin distinct, from academics and community to financial aid and next steps in the college search.

It’s a relaxed, personal way to experience campus before the school year begins.

Plus, attending qualifies students for Calvin’s Visit Grant, a renewable $2,000 scholarship for up to five years.

Taking a look back at all these amazing trips students were able to participate in during May term! Such an awesome opportunity for students to deepen their understanding of cultures, communities, and history around the world.

Juneteenth marks June 19, 1865 — the day federal troops arrived in Texas to enforce the freedom of enslaved people, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation.

As bearers of God’s image, we are called to live His mission: working toward justice, healing, and community for all. Juneteenth is more than a historic milestone — it’s a celebration of freedom, culture, and the enduring contributions of African Americans.

Campus will be closed on Friday, June 19, in observance of the holiday.

From building forts and damming creeks as a child to earning a national River Hero Award, Andrea Lubberts ’98 has never stopped following her curiosity.

Today, as Program Manager of Plaster Creek Stewards, she is helping restore local waterways while bringing people together to care for the communities and ecosystems that depend on them. 🌿

Inspired by a lifelong love of reading, Jeni Grasman Stamas ’96 has distributed more than 11,000 children's books to families, schools, and nonprofits throughout West Michigan.
