Yesterday we had the absolute honor of celebrating the Tigers getting hitched! These two beautiful souls are so special to us and we're so happy that they have built such a beautiful life together out in Tucson (even though it's too far from us 🥹).

Xan Tiger has been one of our biggest cheerleaders in life and The Rusted Rabbit. They stalked our booth until we became best friends, it really didn't take long because they are one of the sweetest humans ever 😂, and have been such a huge support system for me and Mike on our journey for the last 5ish years. It's wild how you can know someone for such a short time and they can make you feel so seen and understood.

They are that friend who never lets you forget what a badass you are 🥹 they uplift everyone around them and it's contagious. They inspire me every single day. And when they found Jordan Tiger it was so clear that they found someone who was that person for them too. Jordan is so gentle and wonderful, listens with intent, and matches the weird of the insanely wacky wonder that is Xan Tiger. I'm so happy you two found each other!

It was such an honor to be a part of their special day. Instead of rings they exchanged Rusted Rabbit pendants made my me (Whimsy). Xan picked out every single individual stone that went into these pieces and let me work my magic.

Mike played them beautiful music for their ceremony along with their sweet friend, Anni. I swear I didn't sob or anything (😂I fully did). JJ did a beautiful service. Seeing JJ light up with this amazing role, was so lovely to see. You could see the love oozing out of their little goblin pores 😍 Artist friends brought them so many surprises. It was all just perfect.

Tigers, we love you so so very much and we're so happy you are in our lives! Love you SO BIG!!!

We're at Lowell Pride today until 5pm!! We're right along the river with a gorgeous breeze 🌈🌈 Come on out and say hi!!

Just woke up from a dream, and I have to tell you about it.

I'm sitting with a friend of mine and Kristen Bell just chatting. Kristen starts looking down at her phone, then looks up and says something along the lines of, "I don't know if they think it makes them special, but this page I follow, The Rusted Rabbit, posts THEE MOST DEPRESSING S**T".

My friend looks at her, then at me, and I sit there awkwardly for like 2 seconds before saying, "I almosssssst went into chewing you out mode, but you're probably right."

I wanted to be mad, but I just had to Let It Go 😭

Remember that time I (Whimsy) made a bunch of magical charm bracelets, named them fairy names, and then never made more? Guess what? I MADE MORE 🤣

This time they are extra special because they are made with our wonderful friend Sarah's Flora & Function ceramic charms! She puts her whimsical fae energy into every piece she creates and we are so obsessed!
We drink coffee from her mugs every single morning because they bring us so much joy. Go check out her beautiful pottery!

I didn't name this batch, but which one is calling to you? What would you name them?! I'm a little partial to the first cutie with the little rabbit charm 🥹

17 Years Y'all 🤯

That's how many years we have together, 🥹

Almost half of our lives. Meeting while working at the Alpine McDonald's. Learning how to survive on fast food incomes. Swing Dancing. Too much drinking. Battling insecurities and jealousies. Always being down to put on a show. Finding our inner children again, and nurturing those little bad kids. You petting my fur on a bench. So much dancing together. Countless weddings, including our own. Moving 20 times in our 17 years. Spending time with so many friends, past and present. Too much drinking. Getting engaged on a beach at sunset with friends hiding in the reeds to capture the perfect picture. Giving our love a government name. Letting our inner Grandma's out to play. Winking at each other 247,000 times. Me being a cat and you being pretty. Starting our own business, betting on ourselves day after day. Surviving a pandemic. Finding our chosen family 800 miles away from home. Travels here and there. Learning to let love in, and prioritize all kinds of love, not just romantic. Finding our Fae side. Finding our Gay side. Being absolute smokeshows. Never letting our hunger for adventure together go away. Adult Recess, finding our strength, taking action, continuing to let love in.

I hope you enjoy all of these pictures of us, my love. My favorite is the one of us on the bench, you stroking my fur.

What a fun night!!

Mike got to head down to for Tuesday Night Swing!!

They brought the giant parachute to give the dancers a taste of Adult Recess, and it was such a great time! 48ish people got to play and run and dance with Mike as they frolicked about the place.
