We want to thank each and every one of you for your kindness and generosity of late. We have been feeling a bit defeated and rescue life can feel like a lonely, uphill battle, Especially this time of year. We know money is tight for everyone and we can't thank you enough for squeezing out what you could. We asked and you ANSWERED.

Ok so here is our situation:

A few weeks ago we took in a mama and 5 kittens. The mama and one of the kittens seemed to have an upper respiratory infection or something. Well, they went to the vet and Mama is positive for Feline leukemia. The kittens are most likely positive but haven't been tested yet. We were under the impression the kittens would have to be euthanized.

We consulted Dr.Jen and she said separate the sick kitten and the mana from the others. Get everyone tested now and again in 4-6 weeks. Its not necessarily a death sentence! We were told the kittens probably wouldn't survive past a year old, but Dr.Jen said she has felv+ cats that contracted it as kittens and are thriving! We were BESIDE ourselves with worry. We feel like we can finally breathe!!!

Welcome new friends! We wanted to take a moment to introduce ourselves!

We are a very small rescue of just two people. Trina in the black sweatshirt and Amanda in the yellow.

We are just two friends who want to help kitties. We don't take ourselves too seriously and just want to have a good time while making a difference, even if we aren't changing the world. We do things at our own pace. We have learned what happens when we overextend ourselves, no one thrives.

We have day jobs in addition to our rescue. We don't pay ourselves or take a penny from the rescue, every cent goes to the care of the kitties.

We have had over 200 cats and Kittens, and 1 puppy through our doors since 2021. Which aren't big numbers, but they are to us. We love and cuddle and dote on every single little life that comes through our doors.

Our sweet little Miley moo when to her forever home today! We sure are gonna miss her but are so happy she found her human!
