Dieter from Shredair fame already beat us to it! He's been adventuring through South America for years, bouncing from here and there, and flying where he can. He sent us a little note and photo that we thought we would share below for some inspiration. Wishing you all Happy Skies in 2020 and beyond!

"...I’ve flown the Ahi now in Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Chile. Finally, I broke off the tail completely, while pushing the envelope a little too far 😆 Glued it back on with 10-min epoxy, got it perfectly aligned again. The weight of the glue allowed me to remove the small tail weight.

Heads up! Weaselfest 2019 will take place April 27-28 at Ellwood Bluffs in Goleta, CA (only two weeks away). Come join us! We'll be out there to support the fun and let us know if you need any assistance. All shapes and forms of RC gliders welcome at this event, but no powered RC flight please at this location. If you have grass allergies, definitely bring your supplies for relief... the grass is in full effect with all the recent rains.

We are hosting an after-fly dinner Saturday evening at La Hacienda in Old Town Goleta (starting at 6PM). If you would like to join us, please RSVP us by April 19th at info@dream-flight. We look forward to seeing you!

Kids had the day off school so we put em to work! Libelles and all parts are now back in stock... thank you all for your patience. We'll be closed Monday for the holiday and will start shipping again on Tuesday.

Update: We have achieved the approval of the French! We have succeeded in our mission and will be retiring.

Happy Flipping Friday! ;) For you DIYers out there, check out Stéphane Combet's cool "madstab" modification to his Ahi. Looks like a really nice setup that delivers solid 360 degree flipping action using a pushrod and cord-driven cam.
