6 years ago…. we opened @downtownbarberco We are forever grateful for the city of Glens Falls and to everyone that has been there for us along the way. We built a solid family at the shop and we’re thankful for that. Here’s to the future 🍻 💈

So everyone knows where we stand 🖤 Opening day is tomorrow!!! Our shop still has some loose ends to tighten up, but we will be there to take care of our clients. We put our booksy account on hold over the weekend. We were waiting to hear from the state. But in the next few days we will reopen our account to our clients for booking. Thank you everyone for your patience. This has been an interesting few months and we are ready to get back to what we do best 💈 @downtownbarberco

New guidelines from the state have pushed us to make some changes. Including NEW BUSINESS HOURS (swipe left), sanitation protocol, and changes to appointments. ____________________________________________________
• Our shop will be by appointments only, no walk-ins.
• We ask our clients to please provide themselves with the proper PPE upon entering the shop.
• All clients must maintain at least a 6ft distance between each other.
• Clients are to remain in their car while waiting for appointments. ______________________________________________________

We finished installing the floor and ceiling @downtownbarberco . Now we will add our trim board, shelving, and a few final touches. With only a week or so from returning back to work, we are finally seeing some light at the end of the tunnel. We’ve doubled as interior designers for almost two months now and are excited to get back to our craft.💈 @ Glens Falls, New York

• In a regional effort to reopen businesses in NY, Gov. Cuomo’s plan is to instill a 4 phase reopening process. Professional services* aka Barbering💈will be included into phase 2. This hopefully, could put our opening date anywhere from early to mid June. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and keep everyone up to speed. NEW protocols in regards to infection routine, health policies for staff, and health & safety measures will be in place.

• Once we know an exact date for reopening, we will notify everyone that our scheduling app ( Booksy ) is Live. We have a direct LINK IN OUR BIO. Please take note that due to new regulations you may find changes with our original Booksy account. 📲

Our waiting area is coming along well. We repurposed roof metal from an old church in Chestertown to create the look we wanted for our desk and benches. Every piece of our new shop will have a story behind it. The experience and knowledge we gained from our first build out has made this more enjoyable for us. Next step is the ceiling, the flooring, and then we will redo our bathroom. @downtownbarberco @ Downtown Barber Co.
