Sweet Mercies Rescue Ranch

Taking a moment to appreciate all did this weekend for the rescue. Although Brooke has accompanied me to Auction multiple times, it is a completely different playing field when you are there alone. All of the pressure of fundraising was on Brook this weekend. The pressure of choosing the horses, making the hard decisions, bidding on everyone, capturing/creating/ and posting content, getting horses to the vet, hauling them home, all while holding it together and answering DM’s and comments. It is a mental strain that you cannot understand until you’ve gone through it on your own. I’m so grateful I was able to stay home this weekend and rest. And let’s be honest we all know these Kankles would never have made it all day at Auction, especially in this heat.
