A special moment at yesterday’s Board of Trustees meeting as two outstanding members of the Gillette College community were recognized for their remarkable achievements.

Tony Giest, Machine Tool Instructor, was honored with the Postsecondary Teacher of the Year Award at last week’s Wyoming Association for Career and Technical Education (WACTE) Conference. This prestigious recognition reflects his dedication to student success and excellence in career and technical education.

Arianna Castillo, nursing student, represented Gillette College and the State of Wyoming on the national stage in Atlanta, Georgia, competing in Medical Math and earning an impressive silver medal.

Their hard work, talent, and commitment exemplify the very best of Gillette College. Congratulations 👏
