I bring 26 years of excellent working knowledge of CCH. As a manager and director of several departments and clinics we were focused on being financially sound, providing excellent patient care and having open communication within our staff, patients and the public.

✅ 1. I will hold the CCH administration financially accountable by asking tough questions about their programs, ideas and course of direction. I will follow up to ensure they are financially sound, that they are communicated to the public and not just rubber stamped approved.
✅ 2. The Hospital’s Board is fiscal responsibility to inform the community on the hospital’s financial status. Monthly profit / loss statements must be reviewed monthly. On Tuesday 10/25 CCH ran a full back page ad “Board of Trustees Meeting Recap” stating the hospital had a loss of $2.6 million dollars for September. This is helpful information, but is only one third of the story.

What is the hospital’s financial status for this first fiscal quarter of July, August, and September? The $2.6 million dollar loss in September only adds to speculation if July and August had similar losses?

Considering the new CEO’s comments that “CCH on its current trajectory, could face financial insolvency by 2026”. I encourage CCH to include complete year-to-date (YTD) financial data so we know exactly where CCH is headed financially.

Thank you for visiting my page. If you are here, you know my background, my integrity and common sense OR you have come here to find out more about who I am and what I will add to the Hospital Board. Here is my opening statement, follow the link below to watch.
"I have a very good working knowledge of the hospital. I was the manager and director of several hospital clinics for 26 years. We focused on being financially sound, providing excellent patient care, and having open communication. I retired in 2020. I have 3 major concerns.
1. FINANCIAL - I am concerned with the statement by the current CEO quoted in the NewsRecord “If the hospital's direction does not change, CCH could be insolvent or broke within 4 years."
2. LACK OF COMMUNICATION - I am concerned by lack of communication demonstrated by the $62,000 performance bonus paid to the CEO, who was then fired 45 days later and then paid a $675,000 severance package, all during the same year the hospital was losing 25 million dollars
3. LACK OF TRANSPARENCY - I am concerned by the lack of transparency as demonstrated by the closing and poor handling of the hospice house.

For these and other reasons, I am running for hospital board."

If you share these concerns as a tax paying citizen of this community, I kindly ask for your vote.
