This June, Hope Source provided $7,500 in financial assistance for mental health counseling, helping 6 neighbors access critical care.

🌸 Committee Member Spotlight: Brenda Holden 🌸

Since joining our Paint Gillette Pink in 2022, Brenda Holden has brought courage, compassion, and a spirit of gratitude to everything she does.

When Brenda faced cancer, she made a list of experiences she wanted to have—one of them was skydiving. In 2024, she took the leap.

🪂 “It was amazing!”

One quote that continues to inspire her is from Elisabeth Elliot: "Someday, even you will see that there's sense in this. Your suffering is never for nothing."

Brenda's journey is a powerful example of resilience and paying it forward. We're grateful for all she does to support local cancer patients and their families.

Community support comes in many forms, and for Phillip and Kimberly Fry, owners of 307 Tools LLC, giving back is simply part of who they are.

Phil and Kim first became involved with the Foundation through Gillette Festival of Trees and deepened that connection in 2025 when he purchased a memorial wreath honoring a family friend who had passed from cancer. More recently, they also participated in the Bids of Hope Online Auction, helping support Hope Source and access to mental health care across Northeast Wyoming.

When asked what resonates most about the Foundation's mission, Phil doesn't hesitate. "Healthcare impacts all of us," he says.

Cancer Care is the program closest to his heart. Knowing that local fundraising directly supports local individuals and families facing cancer gives him confidence that his contributions are making a meaningful difference.

We are grateful for Phil and Kim's generosity, community spirit, and commitment to helping improve the health and well-being of Northeast Wyoming. Supporters like the Frys and 307 Tools help make our mission possible.
