Our Mavs fell short today for second place and a chance at rings, but we still saw a lot of great things out on the field! We are getting better each time we play and our bats were hot today. We just gotta keep grinding and the rest will come! Enjoy our fun videos of our Mavs dancing this morning and show those boys some love!

We came out strong today and won both our games in pool play! Our Mavs dug deep and held the Slam for the win in the 2nd game. All our Mavs made great plays and got awesome hits. It was a great day to watch baseball. Levi Gladis had two in the park home runs during our second and received the game ball. Calvin Neal made the game ending catch in the first game and received a game ball. Our MVP chain went to Cason Ray for his outstanding performance at the plate and on third base. What a day! Can we get some atta boys?

We can’t wait to start back at it tomorrow morning!

Introducing Owen Amburgey, the owner of a healthy amount of s***k on the team. Owen always brings the smiles as well as loads of talent. He has quick feet in the outfield and is exceptional at reading the ball. He has a sure glove at first base and brings a good bat to the team. We are so glad to have to him on our team and look forward to seeing him grow!

Our 7u Mavericks have been busy this week, not only with baseball, but with Scott County Running Club and Football camp. We sure take pride in this multi-faceted team and their many talents! Keep working hard, Mavs!

Our Mavs traveled to Flemingsburg yesterday and took home a “W” in an exhibition game. Cohen Sturgill received the MVP chain after making more than a few amazing stops at pitcher. His glove was on fire 🔥 and his bat was too! Atta boy, Cohen! He even got a high five from the other coaches for his phenomenal stops. We are so proud of this team! They came together on some awesome defensive plays and in doing so they were able to celebrate tonight at Hoggy’s thanks to Coach Ethan. Let’s keep it going, Mavs!

We’d like to introduce you to Shade Chenault. Not only is he the proud owner of the title of “best baseball hair” on the team but he can also really crank a ball. He had several awesome hits at our last game and he’s always listening and giving his all. We are so happy to have him as a part of our team.
