About a month ago, Savanna reached out with an idea.

She wanted a candle that felt like an extension of Bloom Marketing Strategies—something her clients could take home and instantly connect back to their experience with her business.

So, we started where every custom project should: with the experience she wanted to create.

I poured a selection of sample candles for her to experience, and together we found the fragrance that felt most like Bloom. From there, we finalized the vessel, refined the label, and brought every detail together.

Today, I delivered the finished product.

Custom candles are about so much more than fragrance. They’re about telling a story, creating a connection, and helping another business leave a lasting impression.

Some of the best scents aren’t planned—they begin with a simple request. 🤎

Last year, my father-in-law asked if I could recreate the scent of his favorite bar soap as a candle. It was a fun challenge, and after a lot of testing, I finally got it just right.

For his birthday, I surprised him with a custom guitar candle in that scent.

Almost a year later… he still refuses to light it. 😂

So this Father’s Day, I made him another one.

When I shared the scent with all of you, I asked if you’d want it added to the collection. The answer was a resounding yes.

As I thought about how the fragrance felt—grounded, rugged, and quietly adventurous—the name Nomad just fit.

With notes of frankincense, sandalwood, and patchouli, Nomad is inspired by wide-open landscapes, slow moments, and the feeling of home wherever the road takes you.

It’s funny to think that what started as one custom request has now become one of Audette’s Legacy’s newest scents.
