So in my practice I recommend a bath after Bodywork and Massage - specifically, 2 cups Baking Soda & 2 Cups Epsom (with your favorite Deb's Oils)- oh she's got some amazing soaps too) But here's some other good reasons to take a Soak before Sleep.

I've had a few interesting discussion about BodyWork and Massage Therapy Rates. ( I had one guy ask for a discount because it was "SIMPLE WORK" and another that thought the building wasn't POSH enough for my rate)- Yes, I laughed out loud.

So of course I asked AI to explain WHY Therapists, me in particular, RATES are what they are.

Surprisingly AI did a good job condensing it. For me, my Physical Cap is about 15 clients a week, due to my auto-immune issues. But that's actually more like 30 hours a week, with all the stuff that needs to be done, like Notes, Billing, Laundry, Cleaning, Doing my own advertising (think old school handing flyers and talking to people). It is a labor intensive profession and I love working with my clients

But here are some AI reason:

"Massive Overhead Costs: Independent therapists must pay for commercial rent (like her salon suite), heavy professional liability insurance, expensive medical-grade equipment (like infrared mats and percussion tools), laundry services, and high-quality hypoallergenic lotions.

The "Physical Cap" on Work: A medical massage therapist cannot work a standard 40-hour week. Because the work is incredibly physically demanding on their own muscles and joints, most independent therapists can only safely treat 4 to 5 clients a day (about 20 to 25 hours a week) before risking career-ending injuries.
