My mission is to create collaborative mixed media art projects to inspire, inform and give back to the communities that help create them.
Part of why I love the 32 Cells show so much is the challenge that comes with the prompts. How do I do justice to the story and the human, while finding a concept that aligns with my voice as an artist and captivates an audience…Each article or photo in the piece was thoughtful chosen (I collected over 100 in my research) and placed in a way that highlighted the composition and story. There are so many layers! There is so much history! Oh hey friends, its been a bit of battle lately so here are a few things I’m grateful for… the joy of gluing random pieces of paper together, home(s), furry animals, little ones with curls, snow, sunshine, sage, friends, family and those that blur the line.
Its also been great to remember that its totally okay if things are a battle sometimes, nothing is permanent.

VIXEN! Show opening next Saturday! I’ve got a small show up at the Garden Valley Center for the Arts this October inspired by the figure of Mother Nature. Would love to see your faces, and will do my best to grab some videos to share ❤️🙏✨

Thank you so much to all the folks that came out to support our rad Boise art community. It was an amazing showing of artists last night at the Old Idaho Penitentiary for the 32 cells show. I'm especially stoked that my piece sold and I got to share a hug with the wonderful woman who bought it!
If you weren't able to attend but still want to see the art, the show will be up at Swell Artist Collective through September.

What an incredible class! We all had so much fun, class literally ran over by an hour and a half. Huge thank you again to MUUV Yoga Boise for the location and Naomi Jones for the magical Yoga Nidra accompaniment.
