Model Me Kids®, LLC DVDs were developed for children and teens with autism, Asperger syndrome, PDD-NOS, nonverbal learning disorder and developmental delays.

The video Model Me Organization & Motivation for ages 9-17, presents skills related to organization and self-motivation. It features teen-aged children demonstrating how to get organized and stay motivated. Each scene lasts between 30 seconds and 3 minutes, depending on the chapter. At the end of each chapter is a storyboard summarizing the rules taught.

I've purchased two of these for my kid. They are settling to sleep better snuggling with these on their mattresses. Makes them feel safe and secure. Thought I would share with other moms and dads. My son likes to stuff toys into it while he reads!

to April 29 when NYU Winthrop Hospital partnered with Life's WORC and Family Center for Autism for a free training on caring for patients with using a more targeted and sensitive professional approach. NYU Winthrop knows that entering a hospital can be a difficult experience for the entire family, particularly for those who have special needs and that's why we've offered three training sessions for professionals since 2017. NYU Winthrop's STAR Program for Special Needs Children is also in place so that our staff can pair the pediatric patient with a Child Life Specialist to help make their experience as trouble-free as possible. https://buff.ly/2XHNKuB

The Family Center for Autism provides supports and services to families, children, and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders. It is Long Island’s first venue that provides a lifespan of services to those on the spectrum and a lifeline of support to families. We offer recreation and social programs for individuals aged 3 to 100!
