This album includes certificates from AAC-focused training I’ve completed through AssistiveWare and AAC Learning Center.

These courses have helped strengthen my understanding of:
What AAC is and who it supports
Modeling AAC in everyday routines
Communication partner skills
Presuming competence
Core words and communication functions
Supporting both children and adults who use AAC

I believe in being open about my background. While I am not a speech-language pathologist, I am committed to continued learning and to supporting AAC users and their families through education, coaching, and real-life guidance.

Hi everyone! I’m Stephanie Nibert, parent advocate and AAC coach 🗣️💙
I created Flourish AAC — Growing communication for real life to support children and adults who use AAC, as well as the parents and caregivers who support them.
Through my journey as a parent and my AAC training, I’ve learned how powerful modeling, core words, and presuming competence can be for real communication 💬🧠
I’ve completed several AAC trainings and earned certificates, which I’ll be posting here so you can see what I’ve been learning 🌱✨
