Southern Railway 630 and 4501 lead the Summerville Steam Special from the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum in Chattanooga, Tennessee to Summerville, Georgia.

Canadian Pacific 4-6-4 Hudson type No. 2816, an engine nicknamed the "Empress", was the last steam locomotive prior to the Big Boy to complete a large tour across the US, but while 4014 travels from the west to the east, 2816 traveled from the north to the south. Her journey originated in Canada, and stopped in Mexico, before returning north.

12 years ago, the place to be for steam was Owosso, Michigan. Train Expo 2014 brought together eight steam engines operating over three days in June. In this clip, one of several double headers was being operated, this one with Leviathan 63, and Little River 110.

Located in La Porte, Indiana, the Hesston Steam Museum's Shay No 7, a former New Mexico Lumber Company and Oregon Lumber Company locomotive built in 1929, is often seen hauling carloads of tourists around the Museum grounds. The engine is now the largest engine in the Museum's fleet and a frequent sight on their tourist trains.

BNSF America 250 Unit 2026 is on the point of the 2026 BNSF Railway Employee Appreciation Special as it flies through Riverbank, CA on the BNSF Stockton Subdivision.

The train will go south as far as Denair, where sister America 250 Unit BNSF 1776 at the other end of the train will take over for the run back to BNSF’s Mormon Yard in Stockton, CA. 6/16/26
