Elizabeth Katkin's outstanding book about female infertility treatments gives a good review to Pregmama and its journey to therapeutically permit the birth of healthy babies to women with infertility and repeated miscarriages.

Pregmama has completed its first human clinical trial in the US with two patients treated. One patient delivered a healthy baby at the age of 45 after years of infertility. We have recently received approval from the European Union to perform our second human clinical trial with more patients, in an outstanding fertility clinic in Hungary. Soon we will start recruiting patients.

We have just published an important paper in Endocrinology demonstrating that we can prevent eggs from midlife mice from having chromosome and spindle misalignments that predispose to egg aneuploidy. Our treatment also increases the number of healthy eggs, and increases the fertility of the mice. These data comprise "proof-of-principle" for effectiveness of the work that we are doing in humans.
