A place to welcome others to be. Proceeds from Fill My Cup help bring care and counsel to those who need it & advocate for mental health care awareness.

Our mission is to serve the least of these, which includes us all, through connection, creativity and counsel; to impart truth that fosters hope & healing for all who seek to be whole.

💙thankful

“For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.” (1Corinthians 13:12) Mental health shows up in endless ways. It concerns our psychological, emotional and relational well-being and is relevant to us all. It impacts how we think, feel and act. And there must be attention here. At Fill My Cup we are attending to this need. In its simplest form, we provide a place for folks to be. With a cup of coffee & a cozy seat amongst others. We offer community. There is an open studio where everyone is welcome to try a hand at creativity, as well as classes & workshops led by seasoned artists who want to share their talent with another. We have counselors on site and a network of care available to get individuals the support they require. Whatever brings a person through our doors, we want to meet them where they are with Hope & charity.

Charity is love of others. It is what we get to do. In our work, and in our lives, the voluntary giving of help. It’s what we all have the opportunity to offer. And there is nothing any of us need more. In the neighborhood where Fill My Cup has landed, need is apparent. We are so glad to be here! And in a broken and imperfect world, we know there is none without want. Our ability to give varies, allowing us to see how we might share our gifts with another and welcome others in return. Giving freely. The exchange of Love. As we open our doors in June, this week is big! Please, join us in charity. #fillmycupgainesville #coffee #create #counsel #community #mentalhealthcare 05/31/2022

A Dream Unveiling

To be known may be the scariest and still, deepest, desire we experience. I imagine this reflects that innermost place He wants to consume. It’s been taught that the Lord is a jealous God. He fights for first place in every one of our lives. Have you seen this? It is a personal affair. No one can know the hard that we face. We have difficulty seeing it for ourselves. I venture to suggest we cannot. Not on our own. It would be unbearable. And It is. To be seen at our worst, we can hardly fathom. He loves us still. He sees us completely. He knows us fully. Love. It is there. As close as anything, anyone we could conceive to want or need. It is Him. The Lord, allowing us to get to a place that we can not endure. Not. Without. Him. He, with us, alone.

“And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.” (1Corinthians 13:13)
