This is a long post with a lot of Information!!
We want to remind everyone that we are only 20 days AWAY from the 51st running of the Festival of Leaves. Here’s how things are starting to look...

As of today, we are close to 150 vendors, crafters, makers of stuff, a few Non-Profits, a handful of For-Profits, a few Politicians, and 12(ish) Food Trucks. We still have a few Vendors and Sponsor Opportunities.

Warren Heritage Society, Inc. - which hosted this festival for 50 YEARS - is having a Festival of its own on the back side of Chester St. I just got word they are going to have a Black Smith, Tours, an Outdoor Kitchen, people dressed like they live in the 1800s, and the making of world-famous Apple Butter.

Chester St. is also where we added a third stage, the "Heritage Society Stage," and there will be live music all day with fantastic acts like Music by Jim Snedeker, The Hasty Brothers, Tunes Of Chrome, and Joseph B Martin!

Our NEW Kidz Zone is also going down on Chester St. and will have face painting and fun stuff from Samuels Public Library; we have a BOUNCE HOUSE, games for the family, and some tasty snacks and food.

This year we also have a few random entertainment acts like Steve Foster and Gracie, a Bolivian Dance group, Jig 'n' Jive Dance Studio, the E. Wilson Morrison Elementary chorus, a guy on Stilts, and someone with Hula Hoops, to name a few.

And that’s just a third of what's going on!.

Shenandoah National Park search for Mr. Zevallos suspended - Shenandoah National Park (U.S. National Park Service) Luray, VA - Based on a preliminary identification of remains found Sunday, May 21, 2023, the search for Mateo Cobo Zevallos conducted by Shenandoah National Park with support from Virginia Department of Emergency Management has been suspended.

At approximately 8:30 p.m. on March 9, a Virginia Department of Forestry employee was killed while fighting a 15-acre wildfire along Lester’s Fork Road near the Roseann community in Buchanan County.

“Today our hearts are broken as we send our sincere condolences to Rocky’s family, friends and fellow colleagues during this difficult time,” said State Forester Rob Farrell.
