Before Joanne Richardson had language for trauma, she had already learned to live under a lie.

The lie was not spoken all at once. It formed quietly, through silence, shame, suffering, and the long ache of feeling unseen. Over time, that lie followed her into her body, her relationships, her work, and even into the rooms where she appeared strongest.

And still, Joanne rose.

She built a remarkable career across engineering, smart buildings, corporate leadership, and male-dominated industries. She became an author, executive speaker, and courageous voice on trauma recovery, workplace integrity, faith, identity, and truth.

That is why we are honored to announce Joanne Richardson has been selected as a featured guest on THE RUSH OUTROSPECTIVE: A Mastering the Art of Living Podcast.

This will be a soul-deep conversation for anyone who has ever carried pain in silence, mistaken success for healing, or wondered whether the truth could still set them free.

Networking Is More Human Than People Think
Most people think networking is about transactions. The truth is, people are often searching for connection, direction, encouragement, and trust. That’s part of what made John R Kirk and Cowtown Networking Group stand out to me.

We are happy to announce that Gerald Dooley has been selected as the next featured guest on THE RUSH OUTROSPECTIVE | A Mastering the Art of Living Podcast. He serves as Manager of Prison Initiatives at the Prison Entrepreneurship Program, where his work centers on entrepreneurship, character development, servant leadership, and helping men prepare for life beyond incarceration. What gives Gerald’s voice weight is the connection between the life he has lived and the work he now carries. His story includes incarceration, but it continues into the harder work of responsibility, restoration, and daily purpose. That kind of experience has to be lived out.

At the center of Gerald’s story is the relationship he has rebuilt with his daughter, a relationship that endured years of absence and is now marked by love, consistency, and trust. That kind of restoration does not happen in one conversation or one apology. It is built over time through presence, humility, and the willingness to keep showing up. Gerald brings that same understanding into his work with men who are asking difficult questions about identity, direction, family, and whether a different life is still possible.

This episode will explore Gerald’s journey through incarceration, fatherhood, restoration, leadership, and the purpose he now carries through his work with the Prison Entrepreneurship Program. It will also examine what it means to rebuild trust, serve from lived experience, and help other men see a future beyond the worst chapter of their lives. Across the country, incarceration continues to affect families in ways that cannot be fully understood through statistics alone, and Gerald’s story gives that reality a human face.

THE RUSH OUTROSPECTIVE was built for conversations like this, where lived experience becomes a doorway into meaning, responsibility, and growth. When this episode is released, watch it with attention, because Gerald’s story raises a question worth sitting with: what does it really take to rebuild a life and become someone others can believe in again?

Adir Marchuk’s story does not begin in chaos. It begins in control. She was disciplined, structured, deeply committed, and rooted in a serious Jewish life that shaped her with reverence, responsibility, and intention. There is something honorable in that kind of devotion. But even a strong life can carry a hidden weight. Sometimes a person can be faithful, capable, and outwardly steady, while inwardly feeling the pressure of always having to get everything right. That kind of burden does not always break a person, but it can keep the heart guarded and the soul tired.

What makes her story meaningful is not that she turned her back on being Jewish, but that her spiritual life became more personal through Jesus Christ. Her journey carries both tenderness and depth because it reflects a woman who took faith seriously before, and takes it seriously now. The language changed from striving to grace, from pressure to peace, from performance to relationship. In Jesus Christ, she began to experience forgiveness not just as an idea, but as something living and present. For her, that did not erase the sacredness of where she came from. It gave new meaning to what had already been planted in her life and brought her into a deeper sense of love, healing, and surrender.

There is also a real psychological shift in her story that many people will understand, whether they come from Judaism, Christianity, or any deeply formed background of faith. When identity has been organized around discipline, perfection, and holding everything together, it can be hard to imagine another way of living. But when a person begins to reorganize that identity around belonging instead of pressure, everything starts to change. That is where the name of Jesus Christ becomes so impactful in her testimony. Not as a slogan, but as the center of a new inner life. She did not lose her strength. She discovered that strength could be softened by grace, and that a heart can remain devoted without living under constant weight.

After divorce, a man felt broken. His friend suggested a mission trip, and he agreed. On his first trip, he saw how music unites. Performers, athletes, and musicians gathered 200 men in white, all listening to live music, creating a shared experience.

Christin Cavness Slough’s story carries that kind of weight, the kind that makes you pause, breathe differently, and wonder how a person learns to live while the world rearranges around them.

What Christin lived through cannot be reduced to headlines or courtroom transcripts. The real story unfolded in the unseen spaces, inside her home, inside her faith, inside the long nights when resolve had to be rebuilt from whatever strength was left. Her husband Paul A Slough's deployment and imprisonment pulled her into a terrain she never sought, yet she learned to navigate it with a steadiness that wasn’t loud but unmistakably strong.

Some of what Christin revealed feels almost too intimate for a podcast. And yet, she said it anyway, voice steady, hands folded, carrying memories that still tighten the air when spoken aloud.

She joins THE RUSH OUTROSPECTIVE | A Mastering the Art of Living for an episode that traces the shape of a soul that refused to collapse.
