You guys are awesome! In just the first 24 hours, we had gained 100 new followers.

I don’t know how many of you attend Eagle Raceway weekly or if you even know who Trenton is… BUT we are so grateful 🙏🏼 he is just a regular blue collar dad, living his racecar dreams with his wife and kids by his side. He has continually finished top four (usually 2nd 🤭) and we are working to get his first career win!

After we made that post, we realized it was our 53rd post. WEIRD, right? So in honor of that and all of the like and shares we got, we have TWO additional surprises:
1) we are going to draw TWO names and give away a total of 4 grandstands tickets. They are good for ANY regular season event, you don’t have to use them this Saturday.
2) we are going to draw a third name for a free shirt! The next time you come to the races, you can send us a message and we will get you your shirt

Top 4 transferred from the heat race. We went p3 —> p1. Car felt great, but couldn’t get much on the bottom.

Started p3 in the A feature. Track seemed to be pretty dry so we changed a couple things. I don’t think it was awful but it definitely wasn’t right for how I drive.. finished 6th. Had a fun run racing next to 72T for multiple laps and overall happy with how our night went.

We don’t race boats, so Eagle Raceway is out of the question.

✨weekend recap✨

Lilah- go-karts got rained out. She spent her Saturday morning performing at her dance recital and absolutely killed it.

Trenton- Saturday was rough! Made 2nd place transfer spot from the heat but the car lost power as I was crossing the flag stand. Made it to the backstretch and had to be pushed off. Replaced the distributor cap and she fired right back up. Went to the A, got beat up a little but ultimately ended up in 3rd place. Had a lot of work to do to the car to get it back out Sunday but we made it!

Drew 24! That’s one of our favorite numbers (Don Mohr 24!) so we had a good feeling. Had to practice patience in our heat race, but finished 2nd and made transfer. Lilah went up for our pill draw and secured us 3rd! It felt like all of our stars were finally aligning. Spent 12 laps reeling in the leader!! We almost had him. 3 laps to go, 2 cautions came out. Just couldn’t get it there in the time we had. Crossed checkered in 2nd place and dubbed myself the second place bandit on live tv 😅

Lilah swears next week is the week. I guess we will see if we can get her done! It was a great weekend spent with a lot of supportive family and friends.

This Memorial Day weekend! 2 Night's of racing at Eagle Raceway!

Saturday, May 23rd, we have weekly racing with a FREE Kid's Color Run at intermission. SportMods Draw/Redraw, all other classes are normal lineup procedures.

Sunday, May 24th is a Special Memorial event. All classes are IMCA sanctioned receiving National, Regional & State points. (No track points) All classes are Draw/Redraw format. NO ENTRY FEE for drivers.

Most memorial events are put in memory of a single person. We created this event as an opportunity for race fans to be able to create their own tribute for their loved ones that they have lost. Race Fans will be able to contribute extra money to be put towards a single finishing position in whichever class they choose and have a Memorial put up on a banner, announced, put on the LED Sign and/or a memorial photo placed on a slideshow on the infield video screen and live stream at intermission. (Details on how to do this coming soon)

Sunday update!

Lilah- started 2nd row outside in her heat and won it. She started 5th in the a feature and led it for quite awhile. Her and another kid came together, she fixed herself and caught back up to the leader finishing in 2nd. She was happy so dad and mom were happy.

Trenton- drew 6 (hobbies were draw/redraw). Got 2nd in his heat race, redrew for 4th. Ran towards the front almost the whole race. Ended up 3rd place for the night with a car we don’t have to pound out this week. We’ll take it!

Hobbies do not race Eagle next weekend so we are going to watch the late models! See you May 22nd at Mini E and May 23rd/24th at Eagle Raceway!!
