Joel Green with Robber's Cave in Lincoln, NE will be here on Monday June 8th at 6:30 PM. He is the author of Robber's Cave: Truths, Legends, Recollections, which won the Nebraska Book Award in 2019 and details the formation, history, and legends of the cave, including those of Jesse James.

🌻Plant It Forward seeds are still in stock! 🌱The growing bug has really hit Fremont, and the seed library is running out of seeds. Many of our seed varieties are going out of stock, but we still have some seeds left! Make sure to check out your 5 seeds a month while supplies last! Must have a library card to check our seeds.

Some popular seeds that are ready for planting in stock right now are:
Veggies- Beans, Peppers, Lettuce, Onion and Tomatoe
Fruits- Squashes, Pumpkins, Melons, Zucchini
Herbs- Chives, Dill, and Thyme
Flowers- Sunflowers, Alyssums, and Calendulas.

🦖🦖🦖Our next Monday Special Event is Monday, June 8th with Stomp Chomp Roar at 10 AM and 1 PM at the City Auditorium (925 N Broad St).. Travel back in time to meet one of the most famous dinosaurs that ever lived — the mighty Tyrannosaurus Rex!!

In this fun, interactive program, readers will discover the fascinating story behind America’s most legendary dinosaur. Young explorers will learn what makes a dinosaur a dinosaur, how paleontologists uncover fossils, and what may have led to the K-Pg extinction!!

Join us tonight beginning at 6:30 PM for a presentation from Shane Tucker from Morrill Hall. He will be presenting on the Highway Paleontology Program, as well as the timeframe of dinosaurs in Nebraska, and a history of animals living in this area around the time of the Ice Age. No registration required.

Our first Out & About Storytime at Fremont Splash Station yesterday was a success! Thank you again to City of Fremont Parks and Recreation for sponsoring this event! The cloudy weather definitely didn't stop these readers and swimmers from attending!
