It is time to reveal more details about The Mineral City Show Party 🥳! On the evening of Friday, February 3rd, over 100 dealers will keep their rooms open late. In addition to minerals, free food and beverages, there will be live music 🎼 courtesy of Xtra Ticket! Arizona’s longest running Grateful Dead tribute, Xtra Ticket was formed in the summer of 1994 by Evan Jones and Dave A’Bear of JGB and Steely Dead. For those familiar with the mineral world, the name Evan Jones may ring a bell! This is in fact the same Evan that, along with partner Marc Miterman, owns Unique Minerals. Another bonus, Unique Minerals has a room at The Mineral City Show and will be open for the party and concert! The fun will begin on the afternoon of Feb 3rd, and continue into the evening. Minerals, music, libations and more are waiting, see you soon!

Just in from Brazil and Uruguay. The flowers were recovered from Artigas, UY. These beauties will be at our new location on 501 W. Lester St. in Tucson. The show runs Feb. 1st to the 15th. These and 75,000lbs. of the most incredible and amazing things found in the crust of the Earth will be available for your inspection and purchase. No kidding! And you are all invited to our annual Crystals and Cowboys party on the 8th, "Way Out West" will entertain. So, we hope to see you there.

We are packing for our trip to the largest mineral show on the planet. Over 60,000 pounds of the best minerals on earth, large and small, going in boxes and the boxes on pallets and the pallets on the truck. The glamour of the mineral biz. We love it. Surrounded by the beauty of nature and the energy it radiates! What could be better? You sharing it with us always makes it better. We thought we could keep our Long Island shop open while we are in Tucson, but we are short on help. Thanks for your patronage and interest. We will be leaving for Tucson on or about Jan. 22, but the shop will close while Aurora Tucson does it's thing at our Granada Ave. Show. If in AZ., stop in and say hi. Come for the minerals and stay for the Cowboy music and party!

We are celebrating our 9th annual open house. We have just received containers from Brazil, Uruguay and Madagascar containing many beautiful specimens and fossils. We will have food from Rachel's Water Side Grill and refreshments. This will be the only two weekends of the year we will be open to the public. Looking forward to seeing all of you!
