Ok, so the drawers are sanded and stained. The desk door is 99% reconstructed. Last, that sheet will be the new veneer for the desk door. A beautiful red mahogany.

So, work has slowly been underway on this personal project. Approx 100 year old curio secretary. As you can see, not in the greatest condition. The dark stain is not original. The piece had a nice tiger oak veneer on it. Will sand and refinish. The desk door must be repaired and a new veneer applied.

Have been working on this piece and just finished it this past week. This one belonged to my grandparents. It dates back to the 20's. It was their cedar chest. This one will NEVER be sold in my lifetime. I could feel my grandfather watching me as I worked on it. The finish was pretty worn and it had some wear and tear on it. One of the feet was broken so had to repair that as well. Stripped it down as much as possible and refinished it. Repaired the major spots, but left the rest as is. Here's our newest baby! It's really going to hurt to let this one go. This was a circa 1930's waterfall dresser. We refinished the wood and cleaned up the original hardware. The top was carefully removed and made to open. We installed a shelf with ceramic tiled work surface under the top lid. The sides were painted and detailed. To big lined drawers. Bottle storage. Wine glass storage. This piece is simply amazing!

This beautiful piece, came to us as an abomination!! Someone took a beautiful early 1900's empire style table and decided to paint it gold!! It had what was probably a beautiful burgundy leather top with gold tooling at one time, but we could not save that. The entire piece was stripped of paint and refinished then waxed. We redid the top with a bronze fabric lined with gold trim. The medallions on the side corners were redone with antique gold paint. It really turned out nice. The gorgeous wood grain along with the brass clawfoot feet. Gold trim and beautiful carving really make this piece stand out!! Want it for your own?? We converted this vintage storage trunk into a sleek modern coffee table!! When we came across this trunk, it was nothing short of a mess! All the metal on it had to be grinded and polished. Donna did a replacement of the interior. A few structural changes. Some black paint. A set of legs. there is now a crystal k**b pull in the center of the latch. The latch stays closed magnetically. Donna did an amazing stencil on the top and we finished it off with a glass top. Like it??? Want to have the coolest coffee table in your neighborhood?? Beautiful circa 1940 Mersman Table!!! This baby came to us with the top painted red!! We were able to carefully remove the paint and restore most of the original finish!! I am a lover of things in their original condition. When we get a piece like this, it would be a shame to change it into something different. We prefer to try to keep items like this as original as possible. If an item is beyond restoration, we will work our magic to turn it into something new and one of a kind!!!

We transformed this vintage dresser into a beautiful modern wine cabinet!! Glass, stone and metal tiles cover the top. Crackle finish. Fabric lined drawer. Amazing hardware!!
