The Freehold Spooktacular committee is in need of volunteers!
Even though our events grow in popularity each year, our volunteer helpers have diminished over time. This year we are especially short of help. Hoping you might volunteer a few hours for the following events:
This Sunday, October 1, 9 a.m. at Borough Hall to place cornstalks throughout town (Main Street, South Street and Throckmorton Street)
Thursday, October 12 at 8:00 a.m. to assist with Window Painting Contest
Sunday, October 29th at noon to serve as Halloween Parade marshalls

BEER GARDEN! Corn hole, Car Smash, Kids zone and more! Come see our Kid’s Zone with games, Bouncy rides and a petting Zoo!!! Parking off Robertsville Road. Suggested donation is $2 per car and then take the free hayride to the festivities. Busing from the Monmouth County Court Street. Also available to handicap access. ELECTION DAY! There are three polling locations for Freehold Borough Residents. Mail In ballots can also be dropped in the secure Drop Box located at Borough Hall, 30 Mechanic Street until 8:00 PM.

One of the activities for children yesterday at Olde Freehold Day was to work together to make nature mobiles. No one took their creations home. Instead, we told them we would place their creations throughout the park so they can look for them when next they come. So today, that's what we did! Look for them next time you're there...

We have three bounce rides petting zoo and pony rides all free
Plus games with prizes and recreation will hold a hoopla contest and Home Depot will be there with bird houses for the kids to build all free
4H will have rabbits to learn about and Monmouth County Park system will have its traveling van with animals native to our parks on exhibition all day.
If you park on Robertsville road there’s a hayride to take you to the fun. There is a suggested donation of $2 to park there. You can also park at the courthouse and take the free shuttle.
The paddle boats have a fee.
We’ll also have lots of vendors; Giving away free stuff!

We're only a little over a week away from Olde Freehold Day 2021!
Don't go to the Pond Road entrance, that will be closed to parking. There is parking at the Court House with a shuttle bus to the Pond and if you go to the Robertsville Road entrance, there will be parking there with wagon rides to the event. If you don't know how to get to that entrance, put 137 Robertsville Road into your GPS.
Members of the VFW motorcycle riders group will be directing the parking and donations to the VFW will be appreciated.

This year we have for food we have the local group, Knights of Columbus, making cheeseburgers and hot dogs, a local favorite, Jasmin’s ice cream. Kettle corn, the zeppole guy and several food trucks. There’s bound to be something delicious for everyone.

Food trucks, paddle boats and canoes available to rent and of course the music…two blue grass bands, Sawmill Run OTSB and ProGrasstination, Freeholds own halfbrothers and the Eddie Testa band! FREE shuttle from the Courthouse parking lot or park at the Robertsville entrance and takes free hayride to the fun!
