The final favorite of the day obliged, as Astor scored at 1/2 in race 10. He went gate-to-wire in 1:57, for owner P T Stable, trainer Paul Fusco, and driver Vinny Ginsburg.

Shipping from Yonkers Raceway, Flying Finn N came up the inside late in race 9 and gave Austin Siegelman a driving double. The winner is owned by Bill Emmons and trained by Chris Height.

Mcclinchie N scored in this week's Preferred Handicap pace! He took the lead back after the first quarter and never gave it up, crossing the wire 2 3/4 lengths in front in 1:54. Shaun Vallee trains and co-owns the winner with Emanuel and Patricia Balsamides. Austin Siegelman had the winning drive. Congratulations to the winning connections!

Heavy favorite Betting Exchange lived up to expectations in race 7. He retook the lead and set extremely slow fractions. From there, no one could catch him. He's owned by Brenruth Stables LLC, Kajfasz, and Falcon Racing LLC, trained by Tom Fanning, and driven by Joe Bongiorno.

Pan Street USA has been on fire as of late! His victory in race 6 was his third win in his last four starts, and his first win for trainer Brandon Mongiello. He's owned by Valerie Oakley and driven by Eric Abbatiello.

Inukchuk Chuck pulled off the upset in race 5, the second division of the AHDC Trot. He scored at 20/1 for owner/driver Mark Schullstrom and trainer Dawn Anderson.

Viva Las Vegas N has been on a hot streak since arriving at Freehold. He's won two of his last four starts, and hasn't been worse than second in any race during that stretch. He added to his solid resume with a sharp victory in race 4. Jeff Dauplaise is the winning owner and driver, Pat Lachance the winning trainer.

Big Sky Ex took the first division of the AHDC Trot, grinding first-over and getting up late. She's a homebred for owner Domenico Costagliola, trained by Dennis Watson, and driven by John Calabese.

Upset time in race 2! 25/1 Texican N took advantage of a fast pace in front of him and rallied late for the surprise victory. Rick Pantano drives and co-owns the winner with Danny Figliolino. Karen Garland is the winning trainer.

We started the Saturday card with an exciting driving finish! There were a whole bunch of them in contention on the wire, but Albert a'Scootin came up the pylons for the narrow victory. He's owned by Frank Budzinski, trained by John Bavosi, and driven by Troy Beyer.
