Our Story
Thank you so much for visiting our page. Sawdust & Pixie Rust began as a small dream of mine in 2014. My name is Shannon...lover of all things upcycled and reloved. My husband Efrain built our farm house in 2014. We live in a small town in Western North Carolina where we raise our three children. While building our home I realized how talented my husband truly is when it comes to building. He has a natural gift of making anything with his hands. I have a natural gift of finding junk and bringing it back to life. We soon found out we made a good team working together. Ok so sometimes I throw the hammer across the room and he mutters under his breath but so far we have not killed each other...yet!! This past spring we went to Colorado and became certified epoxy installers for Diamondcoat. We love working with epoxy and are so excited to see what God has in store for our family. Thanks again for following along with us on our crazy family journey!
