Building Love started with the idea to build a house for people in dire need of shelter for as little as $700. We’ve quickly realized that as we grow we’ll not be able to keep building new homes and making updates that inexpensively! However, each project will have a goal that we feel can be reached to build, renovate or repair homes for families. We know we can make a difference in the lives of s
o many, and are passionate about reaching across the globe to help. Building Love was founded by Jason Bradford and Matt Tyler after spending some time in Nicaragua during the summer of 2012. The need for shelter and homes impacted them both to the point where Building Love was quickly formed and started. Jason and Matt returned to Nicaragua during the Winter of 2013 to meet and finalize plans for taking action. They have formed multiple partnerships that will oversee the building, renovation or repair of homes. Building Love is a non-profit organization that raises money to build and repair homes. We will be a transparent in our operations and aggressively insure 100% of the money raised on this site will go to support these efforts. The only operational costs will be the small fees to the banks/services that support us. Building Love’s initial focus will be in Nicaragua and the Southeastern United States. Our hope is that it will grow as we connect with others in other countries with a heart to build, renovate, or repair homes for those in need.
