What a day at Cardinal Ridge yesterday! Our “female” bunnies decided to have babies! I guess the guy we got them from couldn’t tell the difference! Our guests for the next few months will get to watch them grow. Yes, they are up for adoption once they are old enough!(the black rabbit is momma)
Later in the day we finally caught Walter, the big white koi to move him to the upper koi pond. He’s evaded us for 6 months! Walter is approximately 22 years old.

It’s an Airstream weekend at Cardinal Ridge! Site 1, 3, and 7 are Airstreams! We are now able to put travel trailers on Sites 1, 3, and 5! There are a few spots left in October so don’t miss out!

Our first fawn of the season! They have been hiding in the woods but are finally coming out to say hello. Come see them!

We found his little guy hiding in the woods this morning. Momma was nowhere in site. We honestly don’t need a pet raccoon so let’s hope he finds his way!

Big Laurel Falls is a great family friendly hike off Forest Service Road 67. Probably not favorable for a swim right now, but in the summer it’s a quiet place to enjoy and cool off.

Combine this with a hike to Albert Mountain Tower or Pickens Nose and you have yourself a fantastic day trip.
