Here’s our MARINADE recipe:
* 1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
* 1/2 cup orange juice
* 1/3 cup fresh lemon juice (about 2 lemons)
* 1/3 cup fresh lime juice (about 3 limes)
* 1/2 cup olive oil
* 4 cloves pressed garlic
* 4 chipotles in adobo sauce chopped
* 1 teaspoon chili powder
* 1 teaspoon dried oregano
* 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
* 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
* 1/3 cup fresh cilantro
* 1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt
* 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
Let meat marinade for 2-3 hours OR overnight. Then heat a drizzle of olive oil and heat each side for 3-4 minutes OR until internal temperature reaches 135 degrees!
Top with your favorite taco toppings (we used pickled onions, cotija cheese, sliced jalapeños, cilantro, and tomatoes). Finally, serve with a side of rice, refried beans, tortilla chips, guac, salsa, or whatever else sounds like a tasty complement!

Here’s another easy-peasy pasta dinner recipe featuring flat iron steaks!
⬇️Here’s how to make it!⬇️
- Cook and drain pasta of your choice
- Add one package of frozen peas
- Add mushrooms
- In a medium saucepan, add 2 TBSP butter and melt
- Add 1 TBSP of garlic and cook until fragrant
- Add 1 cup of heavy whipping cream
- Add salt and pepper to taste
- Add 1 cup of parmesan cheese and stir until sauce thickens
- Pour sauce over pasta, mushrooms, and peas and stir over low to medium heat until mushrooms are soft and peas are heated through
- Season steaks with salt and pepper.
- Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a pan (we love cast irons for cooking steaks indoors) and cook steaks for a few minutes in each side over medium high heat or until internal temperature reaches 145 degrees
- Optional: sprinkle with parsley to garnish
- Pour yourself a glass of wine and enjoy!
Note: you swap your protein out with another cut of steak OR chicken!
Easy dinner idea for you!
pork loin on top of puréed sweet potatoes and blistered brussel sprouts! Served with a blackberry Cabernet sauce.
We know it looks fancy, but it’s an incredibly easy dinner to make that is sure to impress.
✅Pork Loin: preheat oven to 350. Season pork loin with salt and pepper plus your choice of additional seasoning. Add a drizzle of oil to a pan and sear all sides for 2-3 minutes per side. Finish baking in oven for 30 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 160 degrees.
✅Brussels: Season with salt and pepper, drizzle with olive oil, and bake at 400 degrees until they reach your desired crispness.
✅Sweet potatoes: peel and boil potatoes until soft, drain water, add 3 tbsp butter and a splash of milk, blend in blender or with hand mixer until desired consistency. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste
✅Blackberry Sauce: add package of blackberries and 1/4 cup of any red wine (we used Cabernet). Cook over medium high heat until it reduces to a sauce-like consistency
