There is a cookout planned from 5pm - 5:45pm. We are suppling hamburgers, hot dogs, fixings, chips, cookies and water. You may bring another beverage of your choice if you wish. If you would like to bring a side to share, please sign up in the office.

There will be live music from 6pm to 9pm. Come stay with us and enjoy all the Franklin area has to offer!

Head to the Smoky Mountain Center for the Performing Arts for Seussical the Musical!

"Oh, the thinks you can think" when Dr. Seuss' best-loved characters collide and cavort in an unforgettable musical caper! Seussical is a fantastical, magical, musical extravaganza which lovingly brings to life all of literature’s favorite Dr. Seuss characters. The Cat in the Hat tells the story of Horton, an elephant who discovers a speck of dust that contains the land of the Whos, including Jojo, a child with an often troublesome imagination. Horton faces a double challenge: not only must he protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers, but he must guard an abandoned egg, left in his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird. Although Horton faces ridicule, danger, kidnapping and a trial, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him. Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family and community are challenged and emerge triumphant, all to the sounds of an award-winning Broadway score. Approximately one hour in length.

When is the last time you went to see a show? The Smoky Mountain Center for the Performing Arts is a high-tech, 1,500-seat venue for professional theater, dance festivals, concerts, films & comedy.

The millions of bushes, trees, and other plants in the Smokies all give off a little v***r when they exhale, and this comes together to form the magical haze that wafts through the area.
