For Brewfontaines annual Crawfish Boil, I was brought in to create both a beer can label and a matching shirt design. The can label featured two contest-winning patrons who were illustrated directly into the artwork, while the shirt design was based on the same concept but reworked to focus on the crawfish-themed illustration itself.

I was supposed to be painting a mural in Angola today, but the project got postponed. If you've been thinking about adding a mural to your business, brewery, restaurant, office, or outdoor space, I've got some availability coming up. Let's make a wall a little less boring.

I've been lucky enough to work on a handful of beer can labels over the years, and honestly, they're some of my favorite projects.
Breweries tend to give artists a little room to be weird, and that's usually where the fun starts.
If you've got a beer that needs a face, a mascot, or a label that stands out on a crowded shelf, let's talk.
I'm currently taking on freelance illustration and design projects for breweries, bars, and beverage brands.
Pretty good is pretty good.

Need a poster for your band?
I'm currently taking on gig poster commissions for clubs, festivals, touring bands, local acts, and anyone else who needs something cooler than a template and clip art.
Whether you're playing a dive bar, a brewery, or a sold-out theater, I can create custom artwork designed to get attention and look good hanging on a wall long after the show is over.
Check out some of my recent poster work below to get a feel for what I do.
Message me with your date, budget, and details.
Pretty good is pretty good.

I've always loved graffiti.
If I was twenty years younger, there's a pretty good chance I'd be out doing hoodrat graffiti stuff at 2 a.m. and making terrible life decisions with a backpack full of spray paint. But I'm not twenty anymore, so I keep my vandalism strictly hypothetical.
So when I was invited to paint a piece on the River Greenway's legal graffiti wall, there was no way I was passing that up.
The whole thing was done on a budget—both for time and paint. Most of the colors came from half-empty cans left over from previous projects. I even had to make an emergency run to Cost for a couple extra cans when I decided to add the bubble pattern at the last minute. Like most things I make, the plan changed halfway through and somehow worked itself out.
What I loved most about that wall wasn't my piece. It was the collection of voices that lived there. Local heavy hitters, first-timers, muralists, graffiti writers, and artists all sharing space and leaving their mark on the city. Every layer told a story. Every repaint added another chapter.
Unfortunately, the wall was eventually stripped back to bare concrete, taking all of that work with it.
I get it—nothing lasts forever. That's part of the deal with graffiti. But it's still a shame to see so much creativity, effort, and personality disappear overnight. For a little while, that wall felt like a living gallery built by the people who actually call this city home.
At least I got the chance to leave my mark on it before it was gone.

The Midwest is full of strange stories.
Some are real. Some are legends. Some are completely made up and passed around so many times that nobody remembers where they started.
For this week's Merch Yeah Monday drop, I'm kicking off a brand-new series featuring Midwest Cryptids—some inspired by local folklore, some inspired by the weird corners of my imagination.
First up: The Maumee Mudmouth.
According to local legend, this grinning river creature lurks beneath the muddy waters of the Maumee River, watching fishermen, stealing bait, and disappearing the second someone reaches for a camera.
Nobody has proven it exists.
Nobody has proven it doesn't.
The Maumee Mudmouth is available now on shirts and merch through Merch Yeah Monday.
This is only the beginning. More cryptids are on the way.
Maumee Mudmouth | PrettyGoodStudios The Maumee Mudmouth is said to lurk in the muddy shallows of the Maumee River, where the water runs brown and the bottom swallows boots whole. According to local legend, the Mudmouth isn't dangerousjust curious. Fishermen claim it surfaces beside boats to inspect their catch, flashing its crooked gr...

ATTENTION FRIENDS, FAMILY, COMPLETE STRANGERS, AND PEOPLE WHO ACCIDENTALLY FOLLOWED ME IN 2017:
I have once again filled the internet with shirts featuring burgers, skeletons, weird stuff, loud stuff, and the kind of artwork that makes people say, "I don't know what this is, but I kinda like it."
Unfortunately, my landlord continues to insist on receiving money instead of compliments.
So I'm humbly asking you to consider buying some of my merch.
Will it change your life? Probably not.
Will it make you at least 12% cooler? The science is inconclusive, but I believe so.
Every purchase helps support an independent artist and keeps me from having to become one of those LinkedIn people who calls themselves a "visionary thought leader."
Take a look. Share it if you can't buy anything. Buy something if you can. Mock me publicly if you must.
