Single Parent Scholarship Fund of Crawford, Franklin and Sebastian Counties

SPSF-CFS provides financial assistance and other services to single parents who are pursuing post-secondary education to gain financial independence.

Our scholarship is awarded to high-potential single parents who are pursuing post-secondary education that will lead to financial ndependence. After applicants are screened for eligibility and go through a competitive interview process, scholarships are awarded in the following amounts:

$1,200 per semester for full-time students
$900 per semester for students taking 9-11 hours
$600 per semester

Our Story

Our scholarship is awarded to high-potential single parents who are pursuing post-secondary education that will lead to financial independence.

After applicants are screened for eligibility and go through a competitive interview process, scholarships are awarded in the following amounts:

$800 per semester for full-time students
$600 per semester for students taking 9-11 hours
$400 per semester for students taking 6-8 hours

Additionally, students attending the University of Arkansas Fort Smith will also receive a 25% bonus scholarship from the U of A Fort Smith Foundation.
