Can a place of business, in Arkansas, legally make you wear a mask?
Have you been following this? What effect will this ruling have on Arkansas?

Campbell is about a year behind me in filing a lawsuit like this. Maybe he will actually win this one unlike his lawsuits against the city of Fort Smith.

One time I was in my Fayetteville office and I heard some crazy lady was trying to barter with the attorney across the hall, Erwin Davis.
I went over and ducked my head in because it sounded pretty heated. This crazy lady was trying to get $1,000 off the criminal defense fee by giving him a white cockatoo that could supposedly talk. After they yelled angrily at each other for about half an hour he accepted the cockatoo as a down payment.
As soon as she left the bird started yelling “heil Hitler” and a bunch of other racist stuff. Erwin just rolled his eyes dramatically and said “what The hell am I supposed to do with a God damn N**i bird.” Then he took the cage out of the lobby and we never spoke about it again. Erwin passed away about a year and a half ago and was the the most eccentric attorney I’ve ever met.

Arkansas Code Title 27. Transportation § 27-51-104 | FindLaw

Thanks to this statute it would be illegal to film any of the Fast and Furious films in Arkansas.

“It shall be unlawful for any person to operate or drive any vehicle on the public thoroughfares or private property in the State of Arkansas in violation of the following prohibited acts…
Driving in such a manner or at such a speed so as to cause a skidding, spinning, or sliding of tires or a sliding of the vehicle”

Please write your state Senator and State Representative today and beg them to add the “donuts in the parking lot are legal if you are doing it to film a really cool movie with fast cars or impress your friends” amendment.

Justin Boyd for State Senate can we count on you to support this?!?! ;)

The one time in history you can go into a bank with a mask on and a Fort Smith man can’t even do that right.

UPDATE: Fort Smith Police have identified and obtained warrants on a suspect in Tuesday’s bank robbery at Armstrong Bank. We are working with other agencies to apprehend the suspect. This case remains under investigation and more details will be released as we are able.

At around 1:38 PM today, Fort Smith Police were called to Armstrong Bank, 2930 Old Greenwood Road, regarding a robbery that had just occurred. We are looking for the subject in the images below. He was last seen fleeing on foot towards Southside High School. If you have any information that can lead to his identification and apprehension, please notify our Criminal Investigations Division at 479-709-5116. To be reward-eligible (up to $1,000), submit tips through Fort Smith Crime Stoppers at 78-CRIME.

[07/07/20]   Not guilty verdict after 6 witnesses gave testimony in front of Judge Storey! Defense Attorneys here will recognize that as an accomplishment.

Wearing a mask for several hours in court sucks.

[06/01/20]   "I would hate to be judged by somebody too dumb to get out of jury duty." - Anonymous lawyer the remarked to me one time a few years ago.
I don't think that's true, but it's funny.

[05/08/20]   Today I filed a lawsuit against Pine Bluff School District for illegally spending almost half a million dollars.
School districts are required by law to seek competitive bids before buying expensive items. The purpose of this law is to reduce the risk of fraud and to ensure that taxpayer money is being spent economically. Pine Bluff School District did not seek competitive bids when purchasing several new school buses, and that may result in the taxpayers getting a full refund from the district.

Police the Police 3.0

Roderick Greer Talley was nice enough to let me represent him in this epic case. Remind me to let other people drive me around if I am hanging out in Little Rock ;)

This is one of the craziest videos we have ever reported on. The home owner caught it on all camera as his door exploded and flew 5 feet after local police used explosives to enter his home. They even laugh while watching the video afterward. Sick people! Turns out he wasn't the only one who was illegally targeted and harassed even though he was innocent!

BODYCAM FOOTAGE: Gun Confiscated by Greenbrier Arkansas Police

I filed a lawsuit today against the Chief of Police in Greenbrier and the now Sheriff of Van Buren County for citing Kirby Ward for carrying a weapon, even though Kirby had been on a journey outside of his county.

Arkansas Judiciary

Not guilty of carrying a weapon even though he was carrying a pistol concealed without a license, drunk as a skunk, after fleeing the scene of a bar where he was asked to leave and then he ripped a door off the hinges!
I've been saying it for 7 years now, you don't need a license to carry a gun concealed in Arkansas.
Natalie Hyman and I wrote this appeal with Peter Giardino
I won! We won! Arkansas won!
Also this fixed huge problems with appealing from District Court to Circuit Court that appellate court created in the first Pettry appeal.
Arkansas Court of Appeals overturned itself and Fayetteville District Court and Washington County a Circuit Court.

Judge Ray Reynolds in Elkins District Court used to make me laugh like this, after a trial he'd say "I think I'm going to find you guilty, but first why don't your attorney and the prosecutor go talk about an offer in the hallway." I'm not sure that is legal but they would usually drop or reduce a few of the charges so everyone was happy.
