Calling on the Future President, Secretaries, Popcorn Chair and volunteers! Please come out and join our wonderful organization.
β¨ Ever wished you had more say in your kid's school life? β¨
PTA Elections are happening in the Cafeteria TODAY β and we're looking for our next President (plus 2 Secretaries & a Popcorn Chair).
Here's what's in it for you:
π‘ A real voice in the events, traditions, and experiences your kids will remember
π€ Built-in community with parents who actually show up for each other
π A front-row seat to the magic β Glow Party, Polar Express, Spring Dance, Field Day, Book Fairs, Fall Fest & more
π Insight into your school you just can't get from the sidelines π The chance to leave your fingerprint on a year your kids will never forget
The reality: Most of our board works full-time or is in school themselves. It's a team β you don't carry it alone. Miss a meeting? No big deal. Need to bring the kids? Bring 'em!
(Heads up: the President role cannot be filled by a DoDEA employee.)
Come for the vote, stay for the community. Cafeteria. TODAY. 3:30. We'd love to meet you.

Head to the Cafeteria tomorrow at 3:30 for PTA Elections!
π£We need a President, two secretaries and a popcorn chairβΌοΈ
The position of President cannot be a DOWEA employee.
We MUST have a President to continue having a PTA. All official roles must be elected and our current President is PCSing, so we need you in order to keep going for the 2026-2027 school year.
Don't have childcare? Thats fine, come as a family. π¨βπ©βπ§βπ¦
Please know that almost all PTA board members as well as its volunteers are currently employed or full time in school so don't let that deter you from joining! ππ
If you are worried you can't make every single thing, that is okay too. Its a team effort, and we need new members to join the team!
Without a President, the program is at risk.
Without a PTA, these are all of the functions funded by the PTA outside of what is budgeted to teacher fund requests:
Popcorn Friday- once a month (position will be open)
Spirit Wear- be in charge of designing selling merchandise such as school and purple up!
Spring Dance- choose a theme, coordinate, set up, decorate and tear down.
Field Day- responsible for the cost of vendors such as dunk tank, inflatables, and misc. supplies
Teacher Appreciation Week- choose and coordinate all events for Teachers Appreciation Week.
End of Year Ceremonies- decorate, maintain
Glow Party- decorate, purchase supplies, clean up
Spring & Fall Book Fair- set up, plan, work registers, and tear down.
Open House- decorate
Fall Fest- choose a theme, coordinate, set up, decorate and tear down.
Polar Express- set up, decorate, tear down
All of these events will be canceled without you!
Please come to vote or to join so we can make every year a great year for our students! ππ
