Behind the blinds where shadows fall,
a quiet figure stands so tall.
The light slips through in silver lines,
like whispered truths the dark confines.

Her shape is drawn in black and gray,
a silent strength that won’t decay.
The world outside may never see
the storm she fought to simply be.

She bends with grace, she lifts her head,
through nights where hope was barely fed.
Yet in the dark her spirit grows,
like hidden fire the shadow knows.

Each line of light across her skin
reminds her where she’s always been—
between the pain, the loss, the fight,
she still became her own soft light.

So let the blinds cast lines above,
they cannot cage a soul with love.
For every shadow that appears
is proof she’s faced her deepest fears.

Today, I'll have the honor of filming a Valentine’s Day celebration at a nursing home with the Ramiracle Foundation—and my heart is so full. ❤️

Seeing the smiles, hearing the laughter, and feeling the love in that room will be a reminder that moments like these truly matter.

So many of our elders don’t always get the attention, visits, and appreciation they deserve, and today is all about reminding them that they are seen, valued, and deeply loved.

Being part of something so meaningful is why I do what I do.

Capturing real joy, real connections, and real humanity is a blessing I never take for granted.
