In addition to your help in addition to your immediate response, we would like to take time to welcome Ramona and Susan….they also reached out this morning as they will help with relief fostering for Yeti and Lucy!

This was an amazing outpouring of people who care and want to make a difference for the pups

A few questions came through this morning or overnight and the elves on the admin  team didn’t have a chance to respond

Please let me take this moment before the event to answer the questions that came through and any other questions you might add to the list

If I participate in a raffle, do I have to stay to the very end to win

No, we have six regular baskets which are fun baskets lots of good stuff inside them , quite a few of them have a gift card with them.

Those raffles we pull every 20 minutes somebody gave Debra a megaphone as a gift. And she will let you know if you are a winner she will broadcast it …be prepared.

How much are the photos and how do I get my photos from a professional photographer. Toby is amazing We have a huge backdrop today, which is red, white and blue Get your Fourth of July photos early with no fireworks 🧨 to scare your doggies away.

The photos are simply $10 and we send you three… we post them on Facebook a few days after the event and if you prefer to send them to you via email, we are happy to do that.

You would just let the front desk know your email when you pay the $10 otherwise as we stated, we will post them on Facebook. And the photos are incredible.

Next question someone ask if the venue is dog friendly it is absolutely 100% dog friendly. The staff at Great Wagon is amazing. All dog, loving people.

What we all ask is for safety first we’re bringing Young small puppies. We’re bringing bigger dogs. The space we occupy is awesome and a good size.

But in the past, we’ve had folks bring their dogs and get with other dogs and let them play in the middle of the area in the middle of the event and when we’ve approached and said no, this is not the place. This is not the appropriate time they get upset with us.

Common courtesy, safety !!!there are children. There are a lot of puppies and dogs to see and to spend time with and the last thing we wanna do is open this up to a dog park atmosphere that is not at all in our mission.

No that is not at all what we are about if you come to the event grab your favorite drink grab a pizza sit down and enjoy.

The other question was regarding the raffles… someone said, I understand there are premium baskets. Can you tell me about those?

Absolutely the premium baskets …we call the winners at the very end

You do not have to be present to win.

Great Wagon will hold your winning basket for 24 to 48 hours….. if you don’t live in the NoDa area, we will deliver to you or meet you with your basket

Again, all of the proceeds from the donations truly help the Rescue in so many ways and truly help us to be able to save the puppies and dogs so we thank you so much.

Any amount will help

And that was the final question I had regarding donations. I have placed the donation list here we love when you bring us items to the Events, one bag of food goes along way 10 clean towels will help us a lot potty pad clean toys the list goes on as you can see and we thank you so much

We are bringing 12 puppies and dogs

Myself and our volunteer team have worked our butts off this week to put all of this together. We don’t just wiggle our nose and it all appears we work hard behind the scene.

We don’t just bring you dogs…we will bring you an afternoon of fun!

An afternoon of the community coming together.

We bring you a bright spot in the middle of the day and the smiles.

After an event, I always sit back and look at all the smiles in the photos , not only the people, but smiles on the doggies too🎉🎉

Every single dollar that we raise on this fundraiser goes to help with heartworm prevention💚 it helps us to provide a distemper vaccines and rabies to all of our pups at the appropriate age🧡 it helps us to buy supplies much needed supplies, such as potty pads such as dog food in the list goes on

The wreaths are beautiful. Very nicely put together. We are asking for a donation of $20 per wreath and all four will be on display today at the event.

If we raise a total of eight dollars that will cover one box of six heartworm pills for the pups🎉🎉🎉🎉❤️❤️
