Another great day for the Army Food Program, we managed to open up another kiosk on Ft. Story, VA.

The Food Management Assistance Team is designed to assist in raising the operating efficiency and effectiveness of the Installation Food Service program by identifying best practices and gaps. Quarterly trends and virtual training are available prior to an FMAT assessment that will assist an installation in preparation. ALARACT 060/2023 provides the FY 24 assessment schedule and a POC for more information.

Today was a great day as the Joint Culinary Training Department Sergeant Major, MSG Kevin Gibson was officially promoted to the rank of SGM. He was joined by his family, friends, battles, and colleagues at Liberty Chapel. It was a touching ceremony full of emotions and laughter. What a momentous occasion and a truly deserved promotion. Congratulations Sergeant Major!!!!!!

We had the honor of hosting MG Heidi Hoyle of the Army G4 here at the Army Center of Excellence, Subsistence. She also attended the Enlisted Aide luncheon, hosted at the Joint Culinary Center of Excellence during her visit here at Fort Gregg-Adams.
